Comments: "Hard worker. She's determined to do well. She's not afraid to ask questions. She wants to know what she can do to be better. I think as a person she's great. Now she doesn't complain about anything. She knows there's a reason it's going to hurt. She knows what she has to do. She'll go a lot of places doing what she's doing." -- Exeter coach Isaac Gonzales

Jordyn Zorn

Comments: "Jo Jo Zorn is a tremendous natural talent. She has the ability to push herself in both practice and workouts. She has the speed to win races at the end when the opportunity presents itself. She is a fierce competitor who doesn't let injuries hold her back." -- Monache coach Brian Cruess

Sarah Reid

School: Exeter

Grade: Sophomore

Highlights: Reid placed third at the Central Section Division IV meet with a 5K time of 19:52 after taking third at the Central Sequoia League meet with a 5K time of 19:51.44. She set a new career low at the CIF Division IV state meet with a 5K time of 19:22 to finish 24th. Her fastest three-mile time of the season was also a new career low at 18:41.5 to finish 15th at the John Seaman's Invitational.

Comments: "She actually ran really well at Valley and state. She ran awesome. It seems like every year that she runs, it's those last few meets that she really puts out. If she does a little bit of upper body work and a little better strength work, she'll come back next year and she'll be again one of the top runners in the area." -- Exeter coach Isaac Gonzales

Annette Acosta

School: Exeter

Grade: Junior

Highlights: The Central Section Division IV runner-up (19:45) ran her fastest 5K time of the season (19:44.61) to finish as the Central Sequoia League runner-up. She finished 50th at the CIF Division IV meet with a 5K time of 20:03. She set a new career low three-mile time (18:21.6) to finish eighth at the John Seaman's Invitational.

Comments: "Annette, she's one of those multi-sport girls. It's really hard to get her to run year round. If she really wanted to and she ran year round, I think she could be really, really good. But she puts her heart into it. There's times in practice when I can tell she's hurting, and she'll just push right through it. Maybe it's not her bag, but she doesn't quit." -- Exeter coach Isaac Gonzales
