Hall of Fame Bowling Tournament -- The second in a series of Hall of Fame Bowling Tournaments will be held on Nov. 17 at Plaza Lanes starting at 1 p.m. The tournament is open to men and women members of the Fremont Bowling Association and is a "Nine is Fine" format. There will be a handicap based on 80 percent of a 200 average. Entry forms are available at Plaza Lanes and must be turned in with an $18 entry fee by 11:30 a.m. Nov. 17. Football Playoff Tickets - Clyde High School will host the Avon vs. Toledo Central Catholic playoff football game Friday at 7:30 p.m. Tickets will be $9 at the gate. Gates open at 6 p.m. with game start time scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.
Foundation Basketball Game - The Clyde boys basketball team will host Fremont Ross for its Foundation Basketball game this Saturday at 5 p.m. The freshman game will begin at 5 p.m. and then JV for 2 quarters with the varsity to finish. A $5 admission price will be charged and proceeds will benefit the local food pantry. Those attending are asked to bring a canned good or perishable for donation.
Youth Basketball Leagues -- The Fremont Parks and Recreation Department is currently accepting registration for its 5-6 grade boys and girls basketball programs, its middle schoool basketball program, its 1-2 grade basketball program and its 6-8 grade intramural basketball league. YMCA Youth Leagues -- The Sandusky County YMCA in Fremont is registering 4-8 year olds for volleyball leagues, 3rd-6th graders for basketball leagues and K-2nd graders for soccer leagues. Baseball Camp -- Fremont Ross will host a six-week baseball camp starting Jan. 13. Coach Mark King will direct the program in conjunction with U.S. Baseball Academy. Bellevue Rec News - Intro to Wrestling is a program for children 4-8 years old who are interested in learning the sport. No equipment is necessary and parent participation is encouraged. Cost is $16/members and $27/non-members. Program will meet Thursdays at 6 p.m. The Bull Dog Wrestling program is for youths ages 6 and up who are ready for advanced instruction. Meet participation is optional and entry fees are not included in the program fee ($25/members, $44/non-members). Classes will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5 p.m. S.H.O.E.
