Clearwater, FL-- A very successful season ended for Clearwater Central Catholic Friday night, when the Marauders fell to undefeated University School of Fort Lauderdale, 42-0, in the Class 3A state semifinal.
The University Suns dominated the football game, especially through the air. QB Mike White was 26 of 30 passing, for 324 yards and 2 touchdowns.
CCC lost its first game of the season, then won 11 straight to advance to the semifinals. It's the furthest the Marauders have advanced in school history.
