12:07 AM, Sep. 21, 2013 EDT

Seffner, Florida -- If the Armwood Hawks came into Friday nights game looking a little tired, who could blame them. After all, they played their rain delayed game at Hillsborough on Monday night.

Now with just three days rest, Armwood 4-0, (2-0) was at home taking on the Robinson Knights 0-4, (0-2) in a Class 6A District 8 matchup.

In the first quarter, the Hawks took advantage of good field position when Robinson's punter tried to run for a first down but came up short.

A few plays later, junior running back Caylon Holloway went up the middle 12 yards and Armwood lead 7-0.

A Sterling Hoffrichter field goal of 42 yards made it a 10-0 score at the half.

Junior quarterback Noah Johnson would run around the right side from the one-yard line giving the Hawks a 17-0.

Armwood would go on a get the shutout win, 27-0 over Robinson.

Up next for Armwood, a battle at Jefferson, for the district lead.

Robinson will host Leto in a matchup of two teams looking for their first win.
