2 Bay Area players chosen in MLB First-Year Player Draft

Secaucus, NJ - Two Bay Area baseball players ... Jesuit High's Lance McCullers and King High's Keon Barnum ... were selected in Monday's MLB First-Year Player Draft.

The Houston Astros selected pitcher Lance McCullers with the 41st selection in the compensation round.

The Chicago White Sox selected first-baseman Keon Barnum with the 48th selection in the compensation round.
