ST. LOUIS COUNTY (KSDK SPORTS) - Eric Beisel, Inside Linebacker for Rockwood Summit High school, committed to play for the University of Missouri today.
The 6-4, 235-pounder is a respected leader among his high school teammates. Beisel agreed to trade in his Falcons jersey after graduation this year and suit up for Mizzou this fall.
ESPN's ranked Beisel 4th in the state of Missouri, and 15th overall in his position.
In addition to that, Beisel was amongst the top 50 most sought after recruits in the midland area.
As a member of Team USA, Beisel helped the team earn a Silver Medal while playing in the IFAF U-19 World Championship Tournament.
Beisel received offers from Arizona State, Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, Nebraska, and San Diego State University.
