(KSDK Sports)  The best high school basketball the Midwest has to offer will be on display Saturday. Lindenwood's Robert Hyland Arena, in St. Charles, will be the site of what is sure to be one of the most exciting high school basketball showcases in recent memory.

Teams from states all over the Midwest including Tennessee, Illinois, Indiana, and Missouri will compete in the 6th Annual Midwest Showdown Shootout. The Shootout is presented by RameyBasketball.com and its founder Terrell Ramey, a local high school basketball scout/tournament director.

The event will feature the talents of some of the top high school basketball prospects from the Midwest area.

Nick King of Memphis East High School in Tennessee will be among the more exciting participants in the Shootout. King, who is ranked the #19 prospect in the U.S. by scout.com, has already signed on to play basketball at the University of Memphis next year.

Junior point guard Jaquan Lyle from Evansville Bosse High School in Indiana is another promising player participating in the Shootout on Saturday. Lyle has received offers from many of the country's top college basketball programs including the University of Kentucky, University of Louisville, and Indiana University but has yet to make a decision on where he will play after he graduates high school.

A nationally recognized local player who will be in action at Robert Hyland Arena on Saturday is senior point guard DeShawn Munson from East Saint Louis High School in Illinois.
