Shortly after announcing that he would attend Mississippi in a ceremony at his high school, Grayson (Loganville, Ga.) defensive end Robert Nkemdiche, the nation's consensus top prospect, spoke with ESPNU's Rece Davis.
On his decision:
“I feel like, you know, it’s the right place for me. I feel like they can do special things and they’re on the rise.”
On playing with his brother, Denzel, a linebacker at Ole Miss:
“It was a pretty big factor. I was just like, let me go play with him and do something special. That was the best idea and choice for me, that’s why I chose it.

On Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze:
“He’s just a good man and a good person. He’s a man of his word and I respect him a lot. I feel like he has good things coming.”
On his biggest adjustment in college:
“Just the speed of the game. Bigger, faster, stronger people, more people like me. I just have to get used to it and go play football.”
