ELK GROVE, CA - Malik Thames scored 31 points as the Pleasant Grove Eagles had little trouble getting by the De la Salle Spartans of Concord 68-51 on Tuesday night in the Boys Division I California Interscholastic Federation's Nor Cal playoffs.
The Eagles (26-6) advance to face San Jose's Archbishop Mitty in the CIF Nor Cal Final at Sacramento's Sleep Train Arena at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday.
Archbishop Mitty eliminated Modesto Christian 58-54 on Tuesday.
