CARSON, CA - The Central Catholic Raiders set a new state record for points scored in a California State Bowl Championship defeating Santa Fe Christian 66-7 on Friday in the CIF Division IV title game.
Santa Fe Christian of Solona Beach was no match to the size and athleticism of Central Catholic, who set a state rushing record in a state championship game with 514 yards.
The old State Bowl game scoring record was 59 points, which the Raiders scored heading into halftime.
