DIXON, CA - The Dixon High School Varsity Rugby team won the national title in Utah Saturday.
A group welcomed home the winning team Sunday afternoon around 3 p.m. with signs and cheers at the corner of A Street and 1st Street.
Dixon beat Penn High School, out of Indiana, 48-11 at the USA Rugby Boy's High School National Championship Invitational.
The tournament took place in South Jordan, Utah.
