Liz Dohr, who finished with three second-half goals, headed in the winner with 2 minutes, 24 seconds left as top-seeded Greece Odyssey overcame a two-goal halftime deficit to defeat No. 2 Hornell 4-3 and capture its third consecutive Section V Class B girls soccer title on Monday.
Dohr scored off a cross from Jessica Marlowe.
"We've had a couple of those games down to the wire this year and have been on the losing end of them," Greece Odyssey coach Nino Pilato said. "I think the girls learned from that, dug deep and it finally went our way."
It was Odyssey's seventh sectional championship since 2003.
The Leopards (15-3-1) took a 1-0 lead when Emily Tucker netted a goal in the 20th minute.
Hornell (16-3-1) responded with three straight goals, two from Jocelyn Acor, in a 13-minute span.
Dohr made it 3-2 with a tally from Marlowe in the 51st minute and scored the equalizer with five minutes remaining.
Addison 2, Bishop Kearney 0
Jordan Woodhouse and Kelly DuVall scored to power Addison (19-1).
Meghan Hake made six saves for the Kings (16-4).
No. 1 Webster Thomas 4, No. 4 Penfield 2
Lexie Sciarrone scored twice in the first half to give the Titans (11-4-2) a 2-0 lead.
Michelle Matesic added a goal and an assist and Jordan Lamb scored for Thomas.
Autumn Hansen and Alexa Bartosiewicz scored for Penfield (7-11).
No. 2 Fairport 1, No. 3 Webster Schroeder 0
Casey Luke scored in the lower left corner off an assist Kelly Consadine with five minutes left for defending champion Fairport (12-5-1). Schroeder finishes 8-10.
