Churchville-Chili football gets past Honeoye Falls-Lima in overtime

Josh Powell finished with 218 yards rushing and five touchdowns on 31 carries to power Churchville-Chili to a 44-43 overtime win over Honeoye Falls-Lima in Monroe County football Friday.

John Iacucci completed 10 of 18 passes for 189 yards and one TD for the Saints (1-3).

Powell rushed twice in overtime, 19 yards on the first attempt and a yard on the second, to put the Saints up 43-37.

Paul Fricano converted the extra point.

Jake Apthorpe caught a 9-yard touchdown pass from Alex Obenhofer on the next possession of overtime for the Cougars.

Honeoye Falls-Lima opted to go for win and Churchville-Chili senior linebacker Alex Chesley stopped running Quackenbush at the line of scrimmage to prevent the Cougars from converting the 2-point conversion.

Ryan Quackenbush carried 32 times for 226 yards and four touchdowns for the Cougars (1-3).

Greece Arcadia 24, Irondequoit 21

Arthur Dunn ran for 132 yards and a touchdowns on 16 carries and added a receiving touchdown to lead Greece Arcadia (2-2).

Greece Arcadia's Randall Marcellus recovered a fumble on the Titans' 2-yard line with 27 seconds left and Irondequoit driving.

Dunn scored on a 55-yard run with a minute left in the second quarter as the Titans regained the lead 17-14.

Jay'von Hampton completed 6 of 8 passes for 56 yards and two TDs for Greece Arcadia.

Antonio McIntyre had 191 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries for Irondequoit (0-4).

Andy Miller recorded 15 tackles and a sack to lead the Cadets' defense.

Jake O'Connell added 43 yards and three touchdowns on the ground for Spencerport, which ran for 409 yards. Traye Wyatt had five tackles and a sack to pace the defense.
