High school roundup: Douglas boys roll past Manogue

Hunter Meyers scored 19 points to lead Douglas over Bishop Manogue, 68-49, Tuesday in boys basketball at Douglas.

Joe Syammach and Austin Evans each scored 11 for the Tigers, who led 36-28 at halftime

Remy Dillard led the Miners with 14 points.

Boys Basketball

FERNLEY 74, YERINGTON 51 at Yerington: Tim Klotz scored 18 points to lead the Vaqueros.

Edwin Salse added 14 and Kevin Montgomery had 13 for Fernley.

Corbin Cliften led the Lions with 16 points.

Girls Basketball

BISHOP MANOGUE 72, DOUGLAS 36 at Douglas: The Miners had four players score in double figures led by Gabbi Concepcion and Kelly Lujan with 15 points each.

Emma Briggs added 13 points and Brianna Holt had 11. Manogue (14-1) made nine 3-pointers as a team.

TRUCKEE 52, WHITTELL at Truckee: Senior Sydney English scored 18 points to lead the Wolverines

Emily Harris led the Warriors with 13 points, including three 3-pointers.

SPRING CREEK 60, BATTLE MTN 26 at Battle Mountain: Arrayana Edwards led all scorers with nine points for the Spartans.

FERNLEY 52, YERINGTON 42 at Yerington: Jordan King scored 16 points, including two 3-pointers, to lead the Vaqueros.

Katie Braswell added 13 points for Fernley (4-11) and Penny Kernes had 12.

Ysela Brown led the Lions with 12 points and Francine Summerville added 11.

ELKO 50, LOWRY 40 at Winnemucca: Erin Nielsen scored 19 points to lead the Indians and Raelynn Forcella added 11.

Alyssa Dendary led the Buckaroos with 16 points and Taylor Schwartz added 10.
