The Our Lady of Lourdes High School girls basketball team rallied to beat Peekskill at home on Friday, 73-55.
After falling behind 14-4, Lourdes (4-0) outscored Peekskill 22-12 in the second quarter and 22-8 in the fourth. Paige Decker led the Warriors with a game-high 24 points, while Nora McElduff added 19 and Emily Ferreri scored 15. Marlboro 49, Goshen 29 -- Taylor Orszewski scored 13 points, while Nina DeFabio added 12 and Angelica DeSantis chipped in 11 points as the Iron Dukes won the championship game at the George McGinnis Basketball Classic in Goshen. Marlboro hosts John A. Coleman Catholic at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Red Hook 52, Pine Plains 32 -- Kyla Gabriel scored 17 points, adding two assists and four steals and Julianne Wilkinson added 15 points and nine steals as the host Raiders defeated the Bombers. Maria Farias scored a team-high 12 points for Pine Plains. Franklin D. Roosevelt 73, Ellenville 30 -- Ashley Merritt knocked down five 3-pointers on five attempts in the second quarter, as the Presidents eased to a road win. Merritt, who finished with six 3-pointers, scored a game-high 26 points to go with seven assists. Allison Pritchard added 14 points for Roosevelt (2-0), which hosts Washingtonville on Wednesday. Wallkill 64, Dover 9 -- Lisa Boufard's 15 points led the visiting Panthers. Cassandra Drogan scored a team-high five points for Dover (0-2) Oakwood Friends 30, Upton Lake Christian 23 -- Skyler Ma had nine points and Rachel Plotkin added eight as the host Lions (2-1) prevailed. Emily Strickland led Upton Lake Christian (1-1) with six points.
