HAMPDEN (NEWS CENTER) - Scarborough came back from a goal down to force overtime then won their second Class A title in three years 2-1 over Bangor.
It's the third year in a row the Red Storm and Rams met for girls large school division title. Scarborough won in 2010 with Bangor victorious last year.
The victory gives the Scarborough program four titles, two in Class A and two in Class B. They swept the state honors with the boys for the first time since 1999.
