Prep Roundup: Pine Forest boys basketball remains unbeaten

The Pine Forest High boys basketball team remained undefeated following Thursday night's game against Navarre.

The Eagles (7-0, 6-0 District 1-6A) beat the Raiders 69-41 at Pine Forest, led by Shamar Johnson with 17 points.

Pace beats Tate

Pace's Deon Nelson had 18 points to lead the Patriots (6-3, 4-1) to a 46-41 win at Tate.

Tate rallied in the second half, but the Aggies couldn't overcome a 25-8 halftime deficit.

The Eagles improved to 8-1, 7-0 District 1-6A following the victory.

Hillary Hendricks scored 18 points to lead Jay, but the Royals' hard luck continued in an overtime loss in district play at Baker.
