Distance duo tops list at CIF track meet

Conquerors use Morgan Earman to help earn CIF victory

Plans to rest their ace pitcher, Morgan Earman, went awry for the Desert Christian Academy baseball team Friday, with the top prospect coming on in relief and picking up the victory in the 6-1 win over Southland (Walnut) in a first-round Division VI CIF Southern Section playoff game.

Shadow Hills Knights nab first-ever 'real' CIF win

Upon a lot adjacent to the Shadow Hills softball field run two dogs, a chocolate and golden lab. At times during play, the hounds feign interest in the goings-on of the game, but, really, spend most of the time absently chasing their own tails.
