Weekend Rewind: A TD-saving tackle and wild Hail Mary pass

8:50 AM, Oct. 08, 2012 EDT

Every week during the high school football season, we'll take a look at some of the more interesting videos that appear on YouTube. From highlights and lowlights, to interviews and outtakes, everything is fair game.

Last Week's Rewind: High School Football Players Go Gangnam

No Quit

This is just an awesome effort by the Fossil Ridge safety, who prevents what looked like a sure touchdown with a shoestring tackle before the goal line.

"Come to the Football Games"

We're not sure how effective this video will be in getting students to come to football games, but Lone Peak (Utah) could use some support from the home crowd next week after losing 26-24 at Pleasant Grove (Utah).

Who Are We?!

I could watch football pump-up videos all day. This one comes from Jordan (Utah).

Singing the Alma Mater

Do you sing your school's alma mater after games? Kalani (Hawaii) players do.

Gangnam Style

Your requisite Gangnam Style parody of the week.

Crazy Touchdown Pass

This video was shot a week ago, but someone just got around to posting it yesterday. Check out this mad scramble and touchdown pass on the final play of the first half. The Hail Mary touchdown would turn out to be the difference for Highlands Christian Academy (Fla.) in a 26-20 win over Coral Springs Christian Academy (Fla.).
