350-Pound Running Back David Fangupo To Play at Hawaii

Hawaii, which won 10 games as recently as 2010, stumbled to a 3-9 record last season. The big reason? The Warriors' putrid offense, which ranked 121st out of 124 FBS teams.

Perhaps the answer to Hawaii's offensive woes is David Fangupo, the 350-pound running back in the highlight video above. Fangupo, who starred at Kealakehe and signed with the Warriors last week, is heavier than every player on Hawaii's 2012 roster -- by 25 pounds.

Fangupo told West Hawaii Today that Hawaii coach Norm Chow didn't tell him what position he'd play.

“Whatever helps the team is good for me,” Fangupo said.

There are a lot of defenders in the Mountain West Conference hoping he doesn't line up in the backfield.
