Colin Kaepernick, who will lead the San Francisco 49ers against the Atlanta Falcons in Sunday's NFC Championship, was a three-sport star at Pitman (Turlock, Calif.) High School. While Kaepernick played baseball and basketball, his passion was football.
Kaepernick went on to star at Nevada in Chris Ault's pistol offense before the 49ers drafted him in 2011. The other Pitman player featured in the video above, Anthony Harding, played at Fresno State and returned to Turlock to become an assistant coach at Pitman in 2010.
As cool as it is to watch the dual-threat Kaepernick in high school, the best part of this video is undoubtedly the first 30 seconds.
