The Scoop: The Under Armour Cam Highlight Trainer is the first signature sneaker from Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton. The shoe was recently released in “veneer”, a teal colorway that helps set the tone for spring training.
The high-profile cut is made to help you move better during training, and the sleek style proves the shoe is also great for off-field lounging.
A built-in compression sleeve, which hits just below the calf, offers support and mobility, allowing for multi-directional movement while still hugging your ankle for support.
The sockliner is fully integrated allowing for a seamless interior. According to Under Armour footwear creative director Dave Dombrow, the advantage is to get you lower to the ground and give you more lateral stability.
