Prestonwood suffers another injury
Prestonwood Christian (Plano, Texas) has already lost star forward Mickey Mitchell for the season with a torn ACL and a few weeks back they lost another star forward, Julius Randle for three months with a fractured foot.
Now the injury bug has bit the Lions again, this time it’s starting point guard Marquan Botley, a senior, who pulled his hamstring in a game last week.

The trio makes up Prestonwood’s top three players. Mitchell is widely regarded as a top five player in the 2015 class and Randle, a senior, is ranked No. 2 in the Rivals150.
“To say we’ve been hit hard with injuries is a big understatement,” Randle said. “I’m glad that Marquan will be back soon though. He should be fine to play in the City of Palms next week.”
Peters will miss season after surgery
Suitland (Forestville, Md.) guard Roddy Peters will undergo season-ending shoulder surgery on Dec. 21. Peters, a senior who is signed to Maryland, will play up until his surgery. His last game will be on Dec. 20 when the Rams host Eleanor Roosevelt (Greenbelt, Md.).
Peters averaged 23 points per game last season and is putting up 16 points a game this season.
