It was another good day for American high school-age Olympians in London. Gabby Douglas won the gold medal in the women's gymnastics all-around final, while teammate Aly Raisman finished fourth.
Missy Franklin, who already has three medals to her credit, enjoyed another strong day in the pool. While the 17-year-old swimmer placed fifth in the 100m freestyle final, she qualified for Friday's final in the 200m backstroke.
Katie Ledecky 15, qualified for today's final in the 800m freestyle.
