What: Nike Zoom Revis Shoe
The Scoop: New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis joined forces with Nike to create a signature shoe built for training on multiple surfaces and to withstand wet and cold conditions.
The design is partly inspired by New York City bridges, notable on the outsole, which has a pattern that represents rivets on a bridge.
The body is made with Flywire, lightweight technology that provides a supportive and flexible cage around your foot.
A strap across the middle of the shoe gives you a lockdown fit, which comes in handy when you’re exploding from a stance and cutting laterally. The strap is also imprinted with a motivational callout, “The only way to handle pressure is to apply it.”
An internal bootie provides a form-fit for comfort and helps keep your foot in place. Also inside, find Revis’ jersey number (24) stamped on bottom of the heel area.
Honoring Revis’ love for his family, the word “Family” is stitched inside the shoe tongue.
More details to come about the release date and price for the Nike Zoom Revis shoe.
