The 7-on-7 landscape is dominated by a handful of teams and it’s no surprise that most of them are based in football recruiting hotbeds. Here are seven of the game’s elite squads.

1925 All-Stars

Coached by former NFL players Keyshawn Johnson and Brian Kelly, the California-based 1925 All-Stars won the New Level Athletics 7-on-7 national championship last year. In only its third year, this group has quickly become one of the top club teams in the country.

Goon Squad

One of the original elite 7-on-7 teams, Goon Squad always boasts high-profile recruits and is a tough out in every tournament it enters. The Texas-based team pulls talent from across the country and placed second at the NLA national championship last year.

B2G 5-Stars

This well-known team based in Southern California was originally named B2G before expanding to include multiple teams. The 5-Stars are B2G’s top squad and the roster includes–you guessed it–several 5-star recruits.

South Florida Express

Few names evoke as much respect on the 7-on-7 circuit as the South Florida Express. They regularly attract the top skill position players from the Miami area and compete in the biggest national tournaments.

Pro Impact

Another well-established 7-on-7 team with elite recruits, Florida-based Pro Impact is coached by former NFL players Gerard Ross and Guss Scott.

Footballers Fire

Often viewed as the little brother to the South Florida Express, Fire is another South Florida-based team that always seems to have a roster filled with college prospects.

Team Flex

This Maryland-based team is considered the best in the Northeast, boasting a roster full of talented players that go on to play at top-tier colleges.
