The Scoop: Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson graces the cover of EA Sports’ new Madden NFL 13, which releases today for Xbox360, PlayStation 3, Wii and Vita.
The game’s overall presentation features enhanced audio, including new sound effects and even impromptu chatter.
Say goodbye to generic broadcast voiceovers. The game is revamped with CBS sports commentators Phil Simms and Jim Nantz calling the action from a virtual 3-D booth.
Every play is designed to have it’s own identity with the Infinity Engine. The new feature changes the way players interact by factoring in momentum and velocity to make the outcome of a play unpredictable.
An enhanced passing system also shifts how receivers and quarterbacks respond to the ball.
