The Scoop: HoodieBuddie's hoodies are made with built-in washable headphones at the end of the hood’s drawstrings. Cables are embedded along the interior, ending inside a zipped pocket where the jack is housed to connect and store an mp3 player, iPod, iPhone or other mobile device.
Our HSS content producer Scott Allen and myself were each able to test a sample. Allen, who wore his while running around listening to The Avett Brothers on repeat, said having the built-in headphones was much more convenient than having a headphone cord connected to an iPod on your arm. He didn't experience any issues with the headphones falling out of his ears.
I plugged into the Friendly Fires during my test run. The ends of the headphones felt soft and fit comfortably in each ear. One notable sidenote, you'll have to adjust the volume or skip to a song by reaching into your pocket each time, as the hoodie doesn't feature a built-in controller on the cable like some headphones.
HoodieBuddie features an array of styles. For gals, the Color Block Raglan (pictured above) is great for spring for its soft style and lightweight fabric. It’s nice for layering, too.
As for guys, the Mock Twish French Terry version brings a big pop of color to your spring wardrobe.
