We've got another case of catfishing to report and this one is disturbing.
Orange County (Calif.) prosecutors allege Zachary Reeder, an assistant baseball coach at Beckman (Irvine), created a fake profile of a blonde woman on Facebook to persuade boys to send him pornographic photos of themselves. Some of Reeder's 35 known victims were between the ages of 14 and 15, according to a report in the Los Angeles Times.

Reeder, who has also worked as a history teacher at Servite (Anaheim, Calif.), has been charged with 110 felones, including 34 counts of distributing pornography to a minor,
The Irvine Daily Pilot reported that there is no indication that Reeder had any physical contact with his victims.
Thanks to Prep Rally for the heads up.
