Owensboro (Ky.) Catholic's Becca Greenwell hit 17 3-pointers and tallied a school-record 51 points as the Aces pummeled Whitesville Trinity 99-35 Monday night in a Third Region All "A" Classic semifinal at Hancock County.

The 17 3-pointers are a national record, according to the NFHS Record Book.

Greenwell, a preseason American Family Insurance ALL-USA selection and Duke commit, made her first six threes and was 10 of 12 from beyond the arc at halftime and 17 of 27 for the game.

"My main goal was to beat the school record (10), which was held by my sister (Rachel)," said Greenwell, who is three points away from reaching 3,000.

"This is a great accomplishment but I'm still not done with all the goals I have for the rest of the season," Greenwell said. "I want to see how far we can go this year."
