DeSoto (Texas) guard Matt Jones showed that Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski and Blue Devils fans have good reason to be excited about the 2013 recruiting class, with or without Jabari Parker.

With Krzyzewski among the college coaches in attendance, the Duke commit scored a game-high 23 points to lead the Eagles to a 67-57 win over Parker and No. 7 Simeon (Chicago) last night in a game televised on ESPN. Parker, who was playing in only his second game since suffering a fractured foot, finished with five points.

The win will likely vault DeSoto (14-1) into next week's Super 25 Rankings. Simeon, which is seeking its fourth straight 4A state title this season, will look to regroup. Parker is set to announce his college decision next Thursday and his father thinks Duke and Michigan State are the favorites.

No. 13 TRAVIS (Texas) 56, No. 11 ARCHBISHOP MITTY (Calif.) 53 (OT): With his twin brother Andrew Harrison limited by a hamstring injury, Aaron Harrison scored a game-high 26 points to lead the Tigers to the overtime win. Fellow preseason American Family Insurance ALL-USA selection Aaron Gordon scored 14 points for Archbishop Mitty in the loss.
