With 2 seconds remaining and the score tied, it made sense for Lincoln Way-North (Frankfort, Ill.) senior Denton Wallace to take the final shot against Stagg (Palos Hills, Ill.) on Friday. Wallace had made five 3-pointers in the game, though he hadn't attempted any from beyond halfcourt.
Wallace banked in a 3/4-court buzzer-beater to give the Phoenix a 66-63 win.
