Arian Foster and Tim Tebow will have something in common after tomorrow night. Yes, besides both being NFL running backs.
Foster, who leads the NFL in rushing, announced on Twitter that Mission Bay (San Diego) High School will retire his No. 2 jersey tomorrow.
The news comes one week after Nease (Ponte Vedra, Fla.) retired Tebow's No. 5. Tebow couldn't attend his ceremony -- the Jets were busy getting ready to play the Patriots -- but he was represented by his parents.
With Houston on bye this week, Foster said he will be at Mission Bay for the Buccaneers' game against Point Loma (San Diego).
Other notable Mission Bay alumni include former No. 1 MLB Draft pick Matt Bush, Rubio's founder Ralph Rubio (mmm, fish tacos) and Adia Barnes, who holds the high school girls' basketball record for career blocks.
As a senior in 2003, Foster rushed for 2,093 yards and 24 touchdowns. He also had six kickoff returns for scores. Here are a few highlights from his days at Mission Bay:
