The Scoop: Say goodbye to Apple’s traditional circular earbuds and tune into the newly unveiled EarPods, designed with a better fit and improved audio experience.

While the previous earbuds featured circular speakers, the new EarPods reflect an oval shape. The updated look directs sound into the ear canal without creating a seal like most in-earphones do.

The EarPods are also engineered to better protect from sweat.

As with the previous in-ear headphones, the EarPods have a built-in remote to control volume and answer calls.
