Huntington (W.Va.) Prep forward Andrew Wiggins, the American Family Insurance ALL-USA boys basketball Player of the Year, canceled his remaining three in-home visits Monday with coaches from Florida State, North Carolina and Kansas, saying he intends instead to speak with coaches of those schools by phone. His last in-home visit was with Kentucky coach John Calipari in March.

"He just wanted to shut it down," Huntington Prep coach Rob Fulford said of Wiggins in a text. "He has been on the go for three weeks. He just wanted some space. He is going to speak with them by phone."

Wiggins has said he plans to make his decision by May 15. He has been in a blur of All-Star games this month, playing in the McDonald's All American Game in Chicago, the Jordan Brand Classic All-Star Game in Brooklyn and Saturday, he had nine points and four assists to help lead the World Select Team to a 112-98 win over the U.S. squad in the Nike Hoop Summit in Portland, Ore.
