Serra (Gardena, Calif.) routed Oakdale (Calif.) 42-15 in the CIF state championship Division II bowl game Saturday, giving the Cavaliers their first bowl win since Marqise Lee and Robert Woods were on the team in 2009. Serra junior Adoree' Jackson stole the show with a remarkable individual performance that would make the USC star receivers proud.
Jackson had touchdown receptions of 50 and 27 yards, the second of which was capped by a flip into the end zone. Perhaps it's no surprise that Jackson is the state champion in the long jump.
Jackson wasn't done, however. Watch him take a fake punt 95 yards for a touchdown.
So where exactly does Jackson rank in the triumvirate of recent Serra playmakers?
"They're all pretty special," Serra coach Scott Altenberg told the Los Angeles Times. "Adoree's got another year, so we're going to reserve judgment."
So you're saying there's a chance that Jackson is better than Woods and Lee? That's a scary thought.
