Josie Bunstine and Riley Love each won two individual events to lead the host Northridge girls in the Viking Splash Invitational at New Albany.
Bunstine won the 100 butterfly (1:06.63) and 100 breaststroke (1:14.40), and Love won the 200 individual medley (2:33.82) and 100 backstroke (1:12.52).
The Vikings finished fourth as a team with 28 points. The area's other top finisher in the girls meet was Watkins Memorial's Rachel Baughn, who was second in the 100 back (1:16.12).
In the boys meet, Chad Kilpatrick (2:36.75) and Luke Michel (2:37.17) took first and second in the 200 freestyle to lead Watkins to a third-place team finish with 55 points. Big Walnut won both team titles.
Watkins' other champion was Alan Chapman in the 100 back (1:06.54), and he also placed second in the 50 free (24.75) to Lakewood's Nathaniel Graham (24.65). Michel was third in the 100 breast (1:20.77), and the Warriors placed second in the 200 free relay (1:54.86) and third in the 200 medley relay (2:04.93).
Newark's Philip Hall won the 100 fly (1:10.69) and placed second in the 500 free (6:13.11). Northridge's Brandon Eckstein was second in the 100 breast (1:17.60) and third in the 200 IM (2:36.37). Heath's Trevor Price was second in the 100 fly (1:10.74), and Greg Ybarra was third in the 50 free (25.76). The Bulldogs also were third in the 400 free relay (4:13.08).
