Chad Gilbert trades 1 dream job for another, leaves Jeffersonville for AD post at Charlestown

Chad Gilbert is walking away from a dream coaching job for his ultimate administrative position. Gilbert, who has coached boys' and girls' basketball for 13 seasons at Jeffersonville High School, was hired as athletic director at Charlestown -- his alma mater.

His first swing of the final round of the IHSAA state finals cost him a shot at the individual title. Jenkins carded a 3-under-par 69 during his second tour of the Legends of Indiana, but his two-day total of 7-under 137 left him one stroke shy of Zionsville's Adam Wood.
