LAKEVILLE, Minn. - The Owatonna football team defeated Mankato West 28-0 in their state quarterfinals matchup.
Owatonna took an early lead when quarterback Colton Schock connected with Mason Bloomquist for a nine yard touchdown to give Owatonna a 7-0 lead. Owatonna's defense dominated Mankato West all game long. The Scarlets couldn't get anything going as Owatonna pitches a shutout to advance to the next round of the state tournament.
