CHANHASSEN, Minn. - The Chanhassen football team defeated Kasson-Mantorville 23-21 in their state quarterfinals matchup.
The Tigers jumped out to an early lead when running back Evan Metag scored on a short touchdown run to give Hutchinson an early lead. After converting the two point conversion to go up by eight, the Tigers added another touchdown later in the game. Quarterback McKinley Anderson scored on the keeper to give the Tigers a 16-0 lead.
Kasson-Mantorville made it a game in the second half but the Tigers held on to advance to the next round of the state tournament.
