State 2A Quarterfinals: Caledonia 27, Sibley East 6

BURNSVILLE, Minn. - The Caledonia football team defeated Sibley East 27-6 in their state quarterfinals matchup.

Caledonia dominated both sides of the football in the Class-2A quarterfinal matchup at Burnsville High School. Quarterback Alex Varney connected with Levi Schmitz to give Caledonia the lead. Later in the game, Varney added a 14-yard touchdown run to help seal the deal for Caledonia as they advance to the next round of the state tournament.
