Section 6-6A: Edina 35, Armstrong 6

EDINA, Minn. - The Edina football team defeated Robbinsdale Armstrong 35-6 in the opening round matchup of the section playoffs.

The Hornets dominated the game from start to finish and looked very much like the top seed to start the tournament. Hornets running back Kevin Placide scored from 10 yards out to give Edina an 8-0 lead. Placide scored again later in the first quarter to open up the game for Edina. The Hornets won easily to advance to the next round of the section tournament.
