ST. CLOUD, Minn. - The New London-Spicer football team defeated Morris Area 28-14 in the section 6-3A final Friday.
New London-Spicer's defense got the game going after Joey Dreier intercepted Jacob Torgerson and returned the pick 82 yards for a touchdown. Morris answered back in the second quarter when Tanner Picht threw a halfback pass to Chandler Erickson for a 34-yard touchdown. But New London-Spicer held on to win 28-14.
