HASTINGS, Minn. - The #3 seed in 5AAAAA is Hastings, so they got to open the playoffs at home against #6 seed Tartan.
But, those seeds meant very little on Tuesday night.
Tartan struck early, scoring a pair of touchdowns and adding a safety in the 1st quarter to take a 15-0 lead. And that would turn out to be more than enough. The Titans defense shut down Hastings for the better part of the game, and Tartan would go on to win 22-6.
Tartan moves on to play #2 seed East Ridge in the next round of the playoffs.
