Section 4-4A: Hill-Murray 20, South St. Paul 17

SOUTH ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Hill-Murray football team pulled off an upset by beating South St. Paul 20-17 Friday night.

In the section 4-5A final, the Pioneers shocked the Packers to advance to the state tournament. Jake Hill ran in for a touchdown to give the Packers a score. On the ensuing kickoff, Dusty Krueger returned the kick 89 yards for a touchdown. Running back Michael Alada added a touchdown run later on as the Pioneers win to advance to the state tournament.
