Providence Academy 43, S.P.A. 17

ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Providence Academy football team defeated St. Paul Academy 43-17 Wednesday night.

After the Spartans took a touchdown lead in the first quarter, the Lions answered right back when Michael Cossette returned a kickoff 82 yards for a touchdown. Quarterback Jackson Canfield connected with Christian Pieper for a 15 yard strike to help give Providence Academy a 14-7 lead. Canfield added a rushing touchdown later on to help the Lions seal the victory.
