MINNEAPOLIS - Two of the top teams in the Minneapolis City Conference met on Friday night with first place in the conference on the line.
And the battle between Southwest and Washburn lived up to its billing.
The Lakers looked like they were in control of this one for awhile. After 3 quarters, they were up 18-7.
But the Millers got the offense going in the 4th quarter. They scored a pair of touchdowns, including one in the final 2 minutes, and that gave them the come-from-behind win as Washburn beat Southwest 19-18.
Washburn is now 3-1 on the season, while Southwest drops their first game of the year and falls to 3-1.
