MENDOTA HEIGHTS, Minn. - Two of the best teams in the Classic Suburban Conference are St. Thomas Academy and Mahtomedi. Those two teams met on Friday and this was a good game.
The Cadets jumped out to an early lead and it looked like they would keep their perfect record intact. But the 2nd half belonged to the Zephyrs. Mahtomedi scored touchdowns in the 3rd and 4th quarters. And they pull off the small upset, beating St. Thomas Academy 20-13.
Mahtomedi moves to 3-2 on the season, while St. Thomas Academy suffers their first loss and falls to 4-1.
