MAPLEWOOD, Minn. - The Hill-Murray girls' hockey team defeated North St. Paul 8-0 as the Pioneers continue their strong start to the season.
The Pioneers jumped out to an early two goal lead and kept piling on the goals as the game went on. Paige Freeberg extended the Hill-Murray lead, scoring on a wrist shot to give the Pioneers a three goal lead. Jac Kaasa added another goal in the period as the Hill-Murray offense came to life and knocked off the Polars 8-0.
