MINNEAPOLIS - The Breck girls' hockey team defeated Orono 2-0 in the Section 5A semifinal at Parade Ice Arena.
The Mustangs started the game out strong, taking a one goal lead in the first period after team captain Kate Schipper scored on a slap shot. The Mustangs added to their lead in the second period when Leah Schwartzman scored off a rebound to give Breck a two goal lead. The Mustangs advanced to the next round with the 2-0 victory.
